He also sent a reminder of next Sunday’s special Motor City Festival of Bands is coming to the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn (Michigan Ave. @ Greenfield) on Sunday, March 14 at 3:00pm.
Participating bands include Farmington Community Band, Capitol City Brass Band (Lansing) , Warren Concert Band, West Michigan Concert Winds (Muskegon) and Motor City Brass Band (sponsor). A massed band performance under the direction of Leonard Slatkin (Musical Director, Detroit Symphony Orchestra) will close the program.
This will be a great show that all Midlifemusicians should enjoy.
