New Inspiration, New Directions

A new year has begun, and so has a new season of music.

January marks the end of my second full year of piano lessons, and I’m happy to report that I’m now moving through Mozart and some Faure.    The OLPS orchestra is back in rehearsals – now 40 members strong (with room for a few violas and cellos) – and an ambitious program for our Spring concert that includes Haydn, Beethoven, Brahms, Faure, and Resphighi.

For this blog, some new directions as well.   I’ve enlisted my husband Chuck to help out, and we’re committed to helping to build a true resource for amateur musicians in Southeast Michigan looking for a place to play.

Have information about a group we should add to our list?   Please drop us a line at MidlifeMusicians@gmail.com.

And the source of this inspiration?

That’s the topic for another day’s post!
